putting employee wellbeing first

Mental health is about how people think, feel and behave. There are many reasons why a member of your staff may develop poor mental health and if it is not taken care of it can lead to staff losses and long term sick leave or recurring patterns of illness. One in four people will experience a mental health issue at some point in their lives so it is highly likely that your workforce needs help. A First Aider for Mental Health provides an essential role in recognising  those who may be experiencing poor mental health and offering early intervention as well as informed guidance and signposting to professionals and organisations that can help them further.

If you have Mental Health First Aiders, is their 3 year certificate up for renewal? Book a refresher course for them with me and make sure they and your company is covered
